The UpHer Room Secures First Strategic Partner as Project 100 Pilot Begins

INDIANAPOLIS, IN — The UpHer Room Inc. has secured its first strategic partner for Project 100, marking an important step forward in the development of the organization's workforce development and economic mobility initiative for women.

Project 100 is designed to equip 100 women with employable skills, professional mentorship, and structured pathways to sustainable employment. The initiative is expected to formally kick off in early 2027, following partnership development, pilot activity, and resource mobilization throughout 2026.

The first strategic partnership represents the beginning of Project 100's pilot phase, allowing The UpHer Room to begin testing its model through real-world implementation, partner alignment, and participant-centered support.

"Securing our first partner is more than a milestone. It is evidence that the vision is moving from concept to implementation," said Dr. Benedicta Ajah. "Project 100 was created to close the gap between education and opportunity for women, and partnership is essential to making that happen in a way that is sustainable and measurable."

The initiative will begin with graduates from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, with the goal of creating a replicable workforce pipeline model that can eventually be adapted across institutions and regions.

"At The UpHer Room, we believe women need more than inspiration. They need access, structure, and opportunity," Dr. Ajah said. "This partnership allows us to begin building the kind of bridge that many women need in order to move from readiness to real economic participation."
