HerStory: Why I Created The UpHer Room

The UpHER Room didn't just happen — it was created out of a burden, a vision, and a dream for women everywhere. Here's the story of how it all began.

I remember the moment clearly. I was sitting in a conference — one of those beautiful women's events with worship and powerful speakers. But as I looked around, I noticed something missing.

Where were the women who needed more than inspiration? Where were the women who needed systems, structure, and actual support to turn their vision into action?

That question haunted me for months. And eventually, it became a calling.

The UpHer Room was born out of my own journey of trying to build, lead, and serve — often without the right support or network. I knew what it felt like to have a God-given vision and no blueprint.

I started with what I had: a small group of women, a living room, and a deep conviction that God was calling me to build something different. Not another event. Not another conference. But a Center of Excellence — a place where women could be equipped, connected, and sent.

Today, The UpHer Room serves women across continents, through programs like ServeHER, FundHER, BuildHER, and BecomeHER. But at its core, it's still the same mission: helping women move from vision to execution with clarity, support, and community.
